Established in 2001, we are the largest registered housing provider in Redcar and Cleveland. Our current rental housing stock totals over 10,500 properties with estates located in a diverse range of urban areas, seaside resorts and rural villages.
Our purpose ‘working together to make a difference’ is delivered through three aims:
- Great customer experiences
- Great homes and places
- Great business delivery.
Specialist services such as HomeCall enable people, especially older and more vulnerable individuals, to live independently in their own home, whilst our Redcare programme specialises in providing bespoke extra care housing for older and vulnerable people across Redcar and Cleveland, both are supported by our 24 hour customer contact centre.
We believe working together with local people to find local solutions is a key factor in building and sustaining communities. Our not-for-profit enterprise Re:Furnish is staffed by volunteers who curate and sell pre-loved furniture at affordable prices to help combat furniture poverty.
Our Youth Employment Initiative, ‘New Directions’, offers young people aged 15 - 29 advice and guidance to improve their skills to help get them into work, training or education, whilst Westfield Farm is our community resource centre providing high quality advice, guidance, digital training and support to help people back into work.
By delivering high quality homes and social initiatives we are contributing to the prosperity, wider regeneration and sustainability of the communities within the immediate region and beyond, creating neighbourhoods that will flourish well into the future.
We are a Community Benefit Society registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and regulated by both the Homes and Communities Agency and the Financial Conduct Authority.
